Tables, mirrors, lamps, coatings, a chair, and lamps are the protagonists of this edition of Salone del Mobile for the A.A.T.C. brand. The intense color of the “Picasso black” marble used for the chair and table contrasts beautifully with the white of the floor.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
A touch of light that completes the look comes diffused from the “Antonino” onyx lamps.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nThe idea behind this year’s stand is born from close collaboration with international designer Karim Rashid, who was commissioned with an innovative design for the Salone del Mobile. The further challenge came in the production which required the most competed synergy\u00a0dealing with solutions made in marble. Choosing a compact black marble with gold and white veins like “Picasso black” meant that there needed to be a precise elaboration\u00a0process to satisfy the challenge of equilibrium and magnificence of the table and the chairs, with measures that seemed impossible. Only a precise and ample knowledge of the technology, as well as vast experience, allowed the work to come to life.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Inspiration and fantasy fly together with freedom.<\/b><\/p>\n
Another challenge was the association of the works of glass and gold with bronze. Even these furnishing elements beautifully compliment the “Antonino” onyx with its amber tones.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The A.A.T.C. brand presents itself at the Salone del Mobile this year to launch new ideas, new ways of using stone in furnishing. Stone materials have always kept people company in family or work environments, but never before have they entered the mundane with this level of elegance and prominence. The use of marble, from now on, will become a key component of people’s life environments.<\/b><\/p>\n
